
Paul Zunno Concert NYC - About
Paul Zunno, renowned for his lighting fast hands on the guitar and soulful singing, grew up in East Northport, Long Island. The self-taught guitarist has led a sterling career performing with giants of the music world. Zunno has also written songs for other artists and his music can be heard on radio, television and film.
Paul Zunno held the distinct honor of playing lead guitar for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Wilson Pickett. He performed on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' and in the Miramax film, 'Only the Strong Survive'; a movie about legendary soul singers. Zunno toured throughout the United States, Europe and Australia with Pickett for seven years until Wilson's passing in 2006.
Zunno has also written and recorded songs for Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame inductee Gary U.S Bonds including 'Christmas is On', featured in 2007's holiday film 'A Merry Little Christmas'. His music has been licensed for television, including MTV's 'The Real World' and most recently on Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance'.
Paul Zunno has released five diverse albums and two singles that incorporate rock, pop, blues, country and folk music:

Zunno has performed at festivals and theaters throughout the United States and Canada as a solo artist and with his band. The Fishman company, the world leader in acoustic amplification, made Paul Zunno their featured artist for December 2009 an honored shared by such artists as John Mayer, Dave Matthews and Paul Simon among others.
In 2010, Paul Zunno performed a successful year long run of his solo acoustic concert in New York City.
